Dream snippets
Mar. 2nd, 2022 03:49 amThe voice of silence came from a corner of the house. "I sensed one of the soul-less ones on the property," said the werewolf, "and I think it entered the house through an upper window."Apparently I was reading my dream at one point because this is a direct quote from it ... and a bit of a shock because there were no werewolves (named Silence or otherwise) or vampires in the dream.
The three units entered the house warily, going from room to room, looking for the vampire.
The units mentioned were Amos and two younger versions ... clones ... called Unit One and Unit Two. Amos had inherited an old house and was still new in possession of it. He and the other two had been in a soggy back meadow playing; they had drawn a huge circle and pretended to perform magic, using bad poetry for spells and sticks for wands. As they were leaving the meadow, they found that they had been in the middle of a huge circle of mushrooms. This game had repercussions later in the dream when the original love poem that one of them (who was now an overly emotional and tearful female) was found to have affected the object of her attentions in rather ... fanciful and odd ways. (You know the thing "your eyes are like stars in the sky that twinkle so far above my reach ... your hair is curls like the waves of the ocean, silken smooth and shining like the sun ... &c)
Just before I woke up, the house was an old pre-Victorian/ Queen Anne in which a famous murder had occurred; a Victorian judge who probably deserved it was among the victims, iirc, but others also died, visitors and guests. The deaths occurred during a house party. This may have been the house in which Amos and the units were living in the earlier dream.
Also in the dream, the Weasleys had two older children that the younger ones didn't know.
