Dream snippet - urban goblin attack

I was a guy (I think)
A friend (male) and I were part of some competition, the game was played by two teams of five, each using a large heavy round ball and two under-inflated American footballs .. so six balls in all. The other three members of our team were women whose names I could not recall no matter how many times I was told it (I do have a problem with names and faces in real life). This was a problem because ... well, we lost one of our balls because I couldn't call out the name of the woman to whom I was tossing it.
What I recall of the names were something like Block, Tem, and a name meaning melody that starts with a G.
So we decided to practice in one of our dorm rooms for the next day's round of games.
It was dark and a trio of goblins who had been in an earlier, lost part of the dream emerged from the darkness under the ground. They had seen the three female members of our team and were fixated on them. My friend and I knew about the goblins as well.
The three goblins were pleased that one of them knew the secret of using an elevator. Their glee in that was marked.
I suspect that we were not where they expected to find us because my friend spotted them through a window and we had time to turn out the lights and escape through a window (down a fire escape? It was an older building.)
At one point, my friend tried to turn around to get his wallet; I grabbed him and pulled him out just as another member of the dorm walked in. We thought about warning him but knew he wouldn't believe us and wouldn't run and we would be trapped ... so we left him.
The last scene, we were in a car, being chased by the goblins when they were suddenly contacted by the authority who had sent them ... the authority angry that they were NOT doing the task they were sent to accomplish. The goblins turned around and took off. After some heated argument, we followed.
