Dr. Stevenson was an effective lecturer.

Part of me wanted to see him crash and fail on the rocks of awkwardness but I suppose I wasn't really surprised. He could be very animated and articulate when expounding on one of his pet theories. He had his material organized, he presented the information in a way that was accessible and interesting.

It helped, I suppose, that this was the topic that most of the class had signed up for.
